Blended Iced Coffee

A medium sized blended, flavoured iced coffee contains about 60 grams of sugar — ouch! Ordering an unsweetened blended coffee is always a safer option; however, if you enjoy something sweeter, it might be worth your time to make one at home. I keep a cold brew coffee on hand which helps this recipe come together in 2 minutes.

This recipe can be adjusted to suit your own tastes! Different extracts can alter the taste, and you could add cocoa powder to blended coffee for a mocha flavour.

INGREDIENTS 

  • 1/2 – 1 cup ice

  • 1/4 cup coffee, cold

  • 1/2 cup any milk (I use unsweetened coconut and cashew)

  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract

  • Optional: Natural sweetener to taste (I use monk fruit)

INSTRUCTIONS

Add all of the ingredients into a blender and pulse until smooth and creamy.  Add more ice or liquid until desired consistency is reached.
